STEP 1 - Discovery Call
This is a 30 minute call to discuss your business, goals, exit strategy and how RBA can help. If we are a good fit, we’ll move on to the next step.
Step 2 - A Certified Business Valuation
We will perform a third party, financial review and assess the 6 Value Drivers in your business. This will provide an objective market value of your business, give you a deeper analysis of what’s working in your business. Working in light of these insights results in a higher price at the closing table.
Step 3 - Comprehensive Marketing Strategy
First, we will work with you to create an Offering Packet to be confidentially shared with pre-screened buyers. It’s designed to anticipate all the questions they will want answered. Next, we’ll develop a targeted marketing plan which puts your business front and center in front of the right buyers including our own in-house roster of pre-qualified restoration business specific buyers.
Step 4 - Buyer Screen & Financing Acquisition
We undertake a comprehensive screening process to qualify buyers interested in your business. This includes analyzing their capacity to buy; a references check; a buyer profile and a buyer confidentiality agreement. With our deep banking relationships, we also assist in the buyer’s due diligence process to secure financing with a bank while anticipating, and providing answers to, questions posed by the buyer’s CPA.
Step 5 - Negotiate an offer
After encouraging buyers to submit an Offer to Purchase or “Letter Of Intent”, we review the offer with you and negotiate on your behalf to maximize your benefit.
Step 6 - Arrange Closing
We serve as a central point of contact for key people on both sides of the transaction. We arrange the details of closing to assure a successful close and transfer of your business.
